Three2One Cellars Tranquility `09 $45.00 WBC11

My notes say "Food and Age" Jordan had decanted this wine for 3 hours before we tried it. With the Virginia Prosciutto, I simply said WOW.  We started  our red tasting with a mouthful. This is a wine that will age well for the next few years.  I can't wait to try it again in 2015.

This wine is the product of three friends getting together and making a blend.  It is a great story that shows that in Virginia, they like and respect each other, and they want to make the best wine possible for their own enjoyment, and they are willing to share.

From Drink What You Like (check it out - with pictures and a great write up of the release party):   a collaborative wine project of ‘Three Winemakers’ – Jordan Harris from Tarara Winery, Ben Renshaw from 8 Chains North, and Clyde Housel of Hiddencroft Vineyards – who have crafted Virginia’s newest blend from ‘Two Grapes’ – Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat – from ‘One Vineyard’ – Tranquility.
